Therapeutic Parenting is a challenging and rewarding job in which caring individuals open their home to a child in need.
A Therapeutic Home is a 24 hour residential program located in a private licensed residence. The home provides professionally trained parent substitutes who work intensively with children and adolescents who are emotionally disturbed and/or have developmental disabilities.
Training and Support for Therapeutic Parents include:
Emergency Consultation on a 24 hour basis
Monthly In-home training and support
Pre-service Training Sessions
Monthly Parenting sessions and Support Groups
Clinical Supervision by a Qualified Professional
On-going Training
Financial Compensation
