Alpha-Omega Health, Inc. is a health care company committed to quality services. It was established in 1989 by John K. Horne, Jr. and three other partners. Mr. Horne has been the sole owner and president since 1995.

J.K. and Alpha Omega
J.K. Horne, Jr. not only has extensive personal and professional experience in the behavioral health and home care fields, he also has the heart one hopes to find when dealing with someone who has a hand in shaping the care your loved ones receive. J.K. will tell anyone who will listen how proud he is of Alpha Omega Health and how the philosophy of putting the client first is something that he wholeheartedly believes in and wants to make sure his staff does everyday; with frequent visits to our regional offices, J.K. makes sure this happens! It's not hard to get his staff to do what he asks, they want to please him. The pleasure J.K. receives from knowing he is helping people is infectious; before one knows it, they are as dedicated as J.K. is in making service by Alpha Omega Health, Inc. the very best it can be.

Biography of J.K.
John K. Horne, Jr. was born in North Carolina when the world was just black and white. He added color to make things more distinctive and cheerful. J.K., as he is affectionately called, was reared in eastern North Carolina, educated through Atlantic Christian College (now Barton College), Texas Christian University, North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. has been a helper of people personally and professionaly with over 34 years of work experience. He was an ordained minister of the United Methodist Church, a Regional Director of the Governer's Council on Developmental Disabilities, a Regional Mental Retardation Specialist, and then a Regional director with the Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse. After 18 years in the public sector, J.K. became President of CHAPS, Community Health Alternative Programs and Services, Inc.and Deputy Director of Pride in Carolina, Inc. J.K. is now the sole owner and President of Alpha Omega Health, Inc. Providing the highest quality of care possible is the hallmark of this company. John Kenneth Horne, III, was the first consumer of homecare services provided by Alpha Omega Health, Inc.
